Gorcott Hill is our flagship site for children and young people with a brand new purpose built education centre opened in 2024 on the doorstep of Redditch.
The site includes 56 acres of mature woodland, grassland areas for play and a pond dipping platform. The diversity of plants and animals on site is exceptional, with carpets of bluebells in the Spring and a wide range of fungi to spot in the autumn so there is always something new to discover and learn about.
The fully heated and air conditioned indoor classroom is fully stocked with art and craft materials and means sessions at Gorcott Hill can run all year round in all weathers.

WildTribe is the perfect holiday adventure in the Forest for children aged 4 to 11 who love to have fun outdoors. If your child loves to explore nature or just loves the freedom of being outdoors, WildTribe is the perfect childcare solution for your family, running from 8.30am until 5pm, with a late drop off option available to suit your diary. Example activities: • Den building • Bug hunting • Wild arts and crafts • Bushcraft • Campfire cooking • Wildlife spotting • Soft Archery • Outdoor games and sports Please note: Bookings close 4 days before each session so book early to avoid disappointment. The staff leading sessions are experienced teachers and outdoor educators with full DBS clearance and qualified in paediatric first aid. We are also specialists in supporting children with a range of needs including Autism and ADHD and we encourage families to let us know as much as they can about the needs of their children so we can ensure they are safe and happy in the Forest. Many of our children come back to the Forest again and again so form lasting friendships. We run the sessions in 2 groups, one for younger children aged 4-7 and one for older children aged 7-11. The staff leading each group plan age appropriate activities and differentiate for the different skills and abilities of older and younger children.
