The staff leading sessions are experienced teachers and outdoor educators with full DBS clearance and qualified in paediatric first aid. We are also specialists in supporting children with a range of needs including Autism and ADHD and we encourage families to let us know as much as they can about the needs of their children so we can ensure they are safe and happy in the Forest. Many of our children come back to the Forest again and again so form lasting friendships. We run the sessions in 2 groups, one for younger children aged 5-7 and one for older children aged 7-11. The staff leading each group plan age appropriate activities and differentiate for the different skills and abilities of older and younger children. less
